Running in the 09 engines

We got the engine run in, but it was a very difficult day for us, we were very late at the track, Clay Pigeon, due to flooding, and a crazy dad induced detour !!, nuff said !!
First run with the superb looking Sodi ST-32, that was great, but .....
Engine 1) run in but poor revs
Engine 2) nipped up after 1 lap
Engine 3) half done.
Back to the engine builder and more work to be done !!
Testing at Wilton Mill on Wednesday, and racing there this weekend

Engine on - Seat on

The chassis continues it's
transformation into a racing
machine.
The prime engine is fitted,
ready for running-in and
testing on Friday of this week.
Wiring Loom if on, seat is fitted.
The steering column,pedals
and heel rest are all adjusted
and we are almost ready to hit
the track.
The ST-32 is a whole new ball
game and we will be starting
from scratch,
So Friday could be a long day !

Delivery Day

That should read collection day, ........... but what a buzz, **********!!!!!!!!!
I now have my ST-32 chassis, and I just heard from George Robinson that 2 of our engines are ready for testing.
We just need the temperature to pick up a little and we can get into the workshop and fully prep the kart for our first test day.

Chassis Upgrade for 2009 Already !!

Hold everything, just got back from the Autosport show at the NEC, where we spent a lot of time talking to the Sodi importer and the new SR5-C8 that we bought ready for 2009 is now up for sale, we will be running the all new ST32.

The SR5 is a great chassis but the new ST32 is Sodi's first parallel framed chassis, it is by Sodi standards radical, and we can't wait to take delivery.

So if you know anyone looking for a really good SR5-C8 that is going cheap, get in touch.

2009 Season Preparations

I have just bought a brand new Sodi SR5-C8 even though I was not even in the UK.
It's the one on the left without wheels in the photo is the new one, in my dad's garage waiting for final preparation and of course an engine.
